Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has generated a toolkit to encourage ways of using the numerous behavioral health resources available during the National Recovery Month and beyond. The said toolkit aids in having people perceive signs of mental and/or substance use disorders. It also provides organizers with all the planning materials they need for Recovery month affairs. Moreover, it is to enlighten the public that those in recovery achieve healthy lifestyles, both physically and emotionally, and contribute in favorable ways to their communities. Toolkit sections are Media Outreach, Targeted Outreach, Resources and Join the Voices for Recovery.
